Kingdom Community Bank appoints new CEO
Created: 06/02/2020The Board of Directors of Kingdom Community Bank, Fife's largest credit union, are pleased to announce the appointment of Sofia Dogan as Chief Executive Officer.
Janice Gourlay, Chairperson and founding member said, "We are absolutely delighted to have somebody with Sofia's knowledge, expertise and experience of credit unions and banking. She joins us at a time of significant change."
Sofia, who was Fife Voluntary Action's Financial Inclusion and Anti-Poverty Manager prior to her appointment, said "I am honoured to be given this opportunity by the Board to lead the organisation through some key changes. I am committed to ensuring Kingdom Community Bank grows and develops, benefitting as many people in Fife as possible."
"Partnership working, benefitting communities as well as people, helping Fifers to save money on loans, protecting people from financial harm, helping people to access affordable credit and improve their credit scores, promoting financial inclusion and the benefits of joining a community bank are just some of the key issues I look forward to progressing over the coming weeks and months."
