When: 10:00 - 11:30, Friday 21 February 2020 Where: New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action/Fife Council This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.
These sessions are designed to bring Voluntary Services in Fife together to explore some of the aspects of setting up and delivering Community Led Services in Fife.
This is the opportunity to meet others who currently run or have already set up a valuable service in the community. We will explore some of the challenges which are faced by those who run Community Led Services. We will look at the advantages and disadvantages of setting up a Community Led Service. We will also explore the kind of support required for anyone / group which is thinking of setting up a service run by the community.
We will be running the session 3 times on the above dates. This is a chance to meet others and share some of the knowledge skills and experience you have encountered when setting up a service for your community.
Learning captured from these sessions will be used to help organise a Fife wide event later this year which will focus on Community Led Services and how they can be better supported and developed in Fife.
