    This free course which is hosted by Fife Council, will give an overview of Contest, the UK Government's Counter terrorism strategy and in particular Prevent, one strand of the strategy which aims to prevent people being drawn into terrorism.

    This course is open to anyone working in the third sector in Fife.

    The course will cover:

    • An overview of CONTEST and how it links to working with vulnerable people
    • Forms of extremism and radicalisation
    • Prevent and how it links to your team/sector
    • What are the signs that a vulnerable person is being radicalised
    • How to report a concern should you have one.
