It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Introduction Social stories are designed to give a person with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Learning Disability social information. This workshop will give you an opportunity to learn what social stories are and how to write them. This workshop will increase your understanding and confidence in writing/creating social stories. By the end of the workshop you will have:
- A better understanding of what a social story is.
- Learned about why we may write social stories.
- Had an opportunity to practise writing social stories.
This workshop is suitable for professionals working with children and young people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Learning Disability who would be able to read or understand a story with or without pictures. Please note: priority will be given to people working in Fife.
