  • British Council - Cultural Protection Fund Grants

    Created: 12/11/2019
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

In partnership with the Department for Culture Media and Sport, the British Council have launched the Cultural Protection Fund. The Fund supports efforts to keep cultural heritage sites and objects safe, as well as supporting the recording, conservation and restoration of cultural heritage. It also provides opportunities to local communities for training and education, enabling and empowering them in the long term to value, care for and benefit from their cultural heritage. This is a special open call aiming to generate new ideas for projects relating to Syria, Yemen and Libya, where CPF investment has been low to date.
