    Post: EU Settlement Scheme caseworker

    Hours: 14 per week

    Fife Migrants Forum have received funding from Home Office to help identify vulnerable community clients and support them on successful application for the European Union Settlement Status. The successful person will approach to address fulfilment in EU Settlement Scheme contract and assist Fife Migrants Forum staff in a range of administrative and support duties. This is a fixed term post due to the nature of the funding ending 31 March 2020.

    Duties of the post include:

    • Directly assisting vulnerable EU citizens to make applications under the EUSS;
    • Running end-to-end, one-to-one application support sessions with digital provision and language support for vulnerable adults, including victims of domestic abuse, people with mental health issues, people over 50's and their family members;
    • Develop and maintain effective links with relevant vulnerable European Union's clients;
    • Reaching out to vulnerable groups and their employers via electronic and direct communications, offering EUSS support service;
    • Identifying groups who could benefit from applying under the EUSS scheme;
    • Directly assisting in outreach EUSS activities around Fife area, including working closely with community groups, organisation, employers and their employees supporting them on making a successful application;
    • Create specific strategies for easier and effective execution of projects;
    • Signposting relevant sources of help, such as local authorities, companies, consulates, embassies or relevant UK authorities;
    • Record and monitor all referral to the project and maintain the projects databases, ensuring that all records are accurately recorded.
