    This year Fife will celebrate the 10th year of Fife Business Week from 04 to 08 November. Fife Business week is organised by the Fife Economy Partnership and will be host to a wide range of free seminars and workshops aimed at inspiring people and transforming businesses in Fife.

    Fife Voluntary Action is delighted to be hosting 3 of these fantastic events that are of relevance to Fife’s third sector.

    Guy Fawkes and the Framework: how good corporate governance can help avoid fireworks 

    This event will provide an insight to how the third sector contributes to the economy and employment in Fife and look at five core principles for good governance. This event is hosted in partnership with Thomson Cooper Accountants.

    When:  05 November, 08:30 – 10:30am

    Where: FVA office, Glenrothes

    Fife Funders Fayre 2019

    Fife’s Funders Fayre is ideal opportunity to speak directly with a wide variety of funders within an informal marketplace. You can approach the stalls of funders and speak to them about your project idea, pick up brochures, application forms and other helpful information.  As well as funders, there will be some key agencies there to provide information and support including Fife Council’s community investment team and FVA’s capacity building team. This event is hosted in partnership with Fife Council.

    When:  06 November, either 10:00 – 12:30am or 13.30 - 16.00pm

    Where: FVA office, Glenrothes

    Cost: Free

    Real Living Wage Event: Updates on Employment Law, and Contracting/Tendering (with networking)

    This event is for employers (third sector organisations, businesses and public sector bodies) who are already accredited Living Wage employers or would like to learn more about the benefits of joining the growing Living Wage employer movement. (the event includes a light breakfast). This event is hosted in partnership with Fife Council, Living Wage Scotland and the Glenrothes Living Wage Town Steering Group.

    When:  07 November, 09:30-11:00am

    Where: FVA office, Glenrothes
