  • Fife Funders Fayre - 06 November 2019

    Created: 11/10/2019
    News/Events Category: FVA News

Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) and Fife Council are hosting their latest, annual Funders Fayre on 06 November 2019 in Glenrothes.

This free event will be an ideal opportunity to speak directly with a wide variety of funders including Community Lottery Fund, Scottish Land Fund, Brag, Sport Scotland, Paths for All, Crowdfunder Fife, Heritage Lottery, Robertson Trust, Action Earth, Fife Environmental Trust, Fife Council Grants, SCVO, Creative Scotland, Bowls Scotland, Tesco Bags for Help, Community Asset Transfer, Keegan & Pennykid, and Green Network Trust to name a few.

This will be run as an informal marketplace - approach the stalls of funders of interest and speak to them about your project idea, pick up brochures, application forms and so on.  Some funders will be able to spend time speaking to you one-to-one about your project idea.

As well as funders, there will be some key agencies there to provide information and support, Fife Council's Community Investment Team will be on hand to help identify appropriate funding sources from a list of hundreds of funders across the UK and FVA's volunteering team and the team at FVA that supports hundreds of community groups, voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises every year.

Fife Voluntary Action will be running some additional snapshot information workshops and we will provide details shortly.

    We are likely to offer:

    • Advice on completing funding applications; and
    • A review of your constitution to ensure it meets funders' requirements.

Once you've booked your place at the Funders Fayre, we'll give you the link to book at any of the optional workshops running during the day.

    Booking your place

The venue has a safety capacity limit and we want people to have a good experience, so booking is essential.

We will operate a waiting list and we will limit the number of places per organisation to an absolute maximum of 2, to allow as many organisations to benefit as possible.

You can come along to either the morning or afternoon session
