    Post: Support Practitioner

    Hours: Full-time and Part-time available

    Salary: £17,745

    You will be part of a committed team, supporting individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities. All of the people supported need full support with all aspects of their life which includes either full support with personal care or prompting with personal care, support with cooking or prompting to cook meals, general household tasks, shopping and attending appointments. Some people have complex communication needs and we use different communication tools to meet the individual`s needs. Some of the individuals can get anxious and display challenging behaviour, this always tends to be when the person is trying to communicate something.

    You will join an experienced team full of enthusiastic staff that will mentor you, provide support and guidance and you will also receive excellent training. The shifts will vary from day to day, including sleepovers, waking nights and can also include lone working. A valid driver`s licence is desirable but not essential in this post.
