It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Fife’s Third Sector Strategy Group, in conjunction with Fairer Fife and Fife Voluntary Action is hosting a two-day course in November: “Leadership Development”, delivered by Animate consulting.  The course trains line managers to consider their practice from new angles and strengthen their expertise in guiding their staff to greater effectiveness, confidence and competence.  This is to enhance the way Fife’s third sector contributes to tackling inequalities and the Plan 4 fife – prioritising those who have not benefited from such training in the past & that are under-resourced or-out-on-a-limb.

We have run this highly regarded two-day course on leadership development course on two occasions before in 2018 and received highly positive feedback on both occasions.  It is to be run in Autumn 2019 by Animate consulting, with priority to small to medium-sized organisations who have not benefited from such training in the past.

This is an opportunity for third sector leaders in Fife to come together to ‘get up on the balcony’, and think about leadership – in order to offer refreshed, and refocused leadership in their organisations.

The course will be a blend of theory and opportunities to think together about its use in participant’s organisations – as well as opportunity to reflect and plan to actively bring the learning back to their teams and wider organisations.

Participants can expect to develop new understanding, practical skills and increased confidence to work with issues of:

    • Leading teams and organisations through change
    • Working with Organisational Culture
    • Motivating and managing staff
    • Effective communication
    • Self-management and resilience

Please note that registering for 4th November automatically guarantees a place on the second day on 26th November, there is no need to explicitly book a place for both days.

Fife Voluntary Action is committed to building the capacity of third sector organisations and we are delighted to welcome Animate consulting to assist you in developing your organisation’s talent and hope that your organisation is able to make use of this opportunity.
