    Post: Day Care Support Worker & Befriender

    Hours: 16 per week

    Salary: £8.68 per hour

    The successful applicant will be expected to attend to the personal, social, recreational and emotional need of older people within a day care setting and the context of befriending in the wider community. Applicants should be able to evidence previous experience of working with older people and demonstrate an understanding of their needs, including those who suffer from Dementia and other related conditions. In addition the successful applicant must hold or be willing to achieve SVQ level 2/3 social care or equivalent.
