    Hours: 37.5 per week

    Salary: £25,364 - £26,364 pro rata

    Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity, working on a local scale to benefit people and our environment. They are concerned about climate change, social justice and community development. They would like to see a future where everyone is able to heat their home affordably, eat well, and tread more lightly on our planet.

    The Community Cook will have a key role in coordinating and leading a programme of food courses, workshops and events to groups and paying members of the public. You will also have a lead role in developing and monitoring a range of systems from HACCP, to managing stock and the use of the kitchens, to supporting volunteers and working with local partners. You will have an interest in sustainable food and minimising waste.

    They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about engaging people in all aspects of food and drink, friendly, non-judgemental and has a positive attitude. You will have genuine interest in building a community where everyone can afford to eat good, healthy and sustainable food. You will be highly motivated and able to cook a wide range of foods and cuisines with the ability to guide learners of all ages and experience.
