This is an in-depth look at PVG, and is designed only for those staff/trustees with responsibility for recruiting new volunteers/staff members.
Included in the course:
Duty of care and the law
Your rights and responsibilities
PVG Scheme administration
Defining regulated work
Paperwork do’s and don'ts
Storage of information and certificates
The duty to refer
If you have a larger staff team (over six) that require to know about this then this can be delivered in-house.
Who should attend:
Anyone who has supervisory responsibility for volunteers/staff that may qualify for PVG scheme membership.
This course is not for those wishing to learn more about the principles of the PVG Scheme or a general overview. This covered in our 'Introduction to PVG/Disclosure' course - which you can find on our website.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
