News/Events Category: VolunteeringWould you like to help out at a one-off family-fun, sporting or leisure event in the Levenmouth area, in August, September or beyond?
You don’t need to commit to every event below (although you can if you want to!).
- Food and Drink Festival on Saturday 24 August based at the Shorehead Events Space - a show case for great quality Scottish food and drink and to encourage people back onto the high street.
- "Sun See and Sound Event" on Sunday 8 of September - an outdoor cinema experience and a silent disco in Silverburn Park, a fun filled family day out.
- The Levenmouth Running Festival, Sunday 27 of October – an exciting course bringing runners to the area and fund raising for the local community.
All of these are being organised by Levenmouth Together, a new project aimed at regenerating the Levenmouth area through the production of high quality events. These are aimed at bringing new people into the area, keeping local people in the area and having as much community involvement as possible. They are looking for volunteers who might be keen in supporting these and future events.
