It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Meat Free Monday encourages people to skip meat for at least one day a week to improve their health and help the planet. They'll be running regular workshops for curious cooks interested in exploring how to switch from meat and poultry in their diet to plant-based ingredients more often. They're kicking off in June with two workshops delivered by Kirsty and Tony Strachan from Kangus Coffee House in Kirkcaldy. Kangus is a local cafe that has a down-to-earth, anyone can do it attitude, mainly borne from the fact that Kirsty and Tony are passionate about serving tasty plant-based food and have been running Kangus for a year. They will take you through one of Kangus's most popular specials along with a few new side dishes. The course is hands-on and all food prepared at the workshop can be easily recreated at home for family or friends to dig into. - Fruity Curry - Moroccan Pilaf - Raita.

No experience is necessary however a few basic cooking skills like chopping would be useful. There will be time to discuss, taste and compare notes. Bring some containers to take your food home to share. If you have any particular dietary requirements, please let them know at the time of booking. There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
