This event is being organised by SDS Options Fife
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.This year SDS are proud to celebrate Carers Week's 25th anniversary but recognise that every week is carers week so they are having their celebration the week after! SDS Options Fife is inviting carers, and the person they support, to their next SDS Community Get Together in the CISWO, Glenrothes in partnership with Fife Carers centre who will be sending a guest speaker. They aim to raise awareness of caring, SDS and to celebrate the vital contribution made by carers in Fife. They will also have complimentary relaxing therapies during the event and getting carers connected in their community.
They can pay reasonable travel expenses so let them know if you need help with travel. Personal Assistants will be on hand to help out to allow carers to hear their speakers and try one of the relaxing therapies on offer whilst knowing their loved one is being looked after. Looking after someone can be a hugely rewarding experience, but it sometimes comes with its difficulties, including getting the right support.
