News/Events Category: General NewsTaking place from Saturday 11-Sunday 19 May, this annual festival, run in conjunction with the BBC and other partners, is an opportunity for creative groups to open their doors and encourage newcomers to join them. Groups can run a taster session, an open rehearsal, stage an outdoor performance, or simply badge their usual meet-up as being part of Get Creative. To kick off the Get Creative Festival, they're encouraging groups to take part in 'A Day of Conversation' on Saturday 11 May. Pick a topic, get a group of people together and start talking!
