This event is being organised by Families Affected By Autism
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Families Affected By Autism are a Support group for families affected by autism and related conditions. Join them at their open day to celebrate the completion of their new outdoor play area and sensory garden which they have undertaken thanks to the generosity of the Charities Aid Foundation CAF Tourle Foundation Fund, who awarded them a grant of £3,000 in June 2018 to help them deliver the sensory garden and play area.
Entry to the open day is free. They want to exhibit to the local community what their group can offer and there will be a variety of activities and information to enjoy. Indoors:
- Sensory Den with lights;
- toys and therapy aids LEGO Therapy;
- Play-dough Therapy;
- Scooter Boards and Therapy balls;
- Arts and Crafts Area.
Outdoors:
- Sand/Water/Bubbles;
- Sensory Garden and play area.
Snacks and refreshments will be available. If you are affected by autism or know someone who is and might benefit from their group then please come along and learn about the support they offer and try out some therapeutic activities for autism and sensory processing issues. FABA are supported by: Charities Aid Foundation Coalfields Regeneration Trust Four Winds Trust A.A. Landscapes and Gardens 46th Fife Scout Group.
