FVAWP - Under Pressure
Created: 18/03/2019This course is for staff who would like to use the Under Pressure training programme to increase the skills and awareness around abuse and exploitation in young people's intimate relationships, as well as providing activity resources for those frontline staff to use with young people to help work towards preventing VAWG (violence against women and girls) by raising awareness of VAWG, changing attitudes towards it, and examining ideas to do with gender inequality.
The course aims to better increase knowledge, skills and confidence in the delivery of effective sexualisation awareness, abuse prevention and early intervention strategies in your work with young people. The seminar will be facilitated by Fife Violence Against Women Partnership, NHS Fife and Fife Council's Community Learning and Development. Please note lunch will not be provided.
