    Do you know a Volunteer Manager who deserves recognition for their work? Heritage Volunteer Group's Volunteer Manager of the Year Award celebrates innovative and outstanding examples of volunteer leadership and management in that sector. To nominate someone, download and complete the HVG Volunteer Manager of the Year Form and return it by Tuesday 12 March 2019. Get the details at the bottom of this page of their site.

    What does the Heritage Volunteer Group do? Through their Networking Forum, they help volunteer management groups connect and share best practice, building sustainability through collaboration. They also have an annual conference (where the winner of this award will be announced), bringing together leaders and practitioners from across the sector, with a significantly reduced cost for volunteers and early bird prices for bookings before 25 March. They support groups from the natural to the built environment, from volunteer led organisations to national museums, trusts and groups, including Land and Natural Heritage Museums Libraries and Archives Buildings and Monuments Cultures and Memories Industrial, Maritime and Transport Community Heritage.
