Learn how to grow your vegetables and salads from seed - one of the cheapest and most rewarding ways to grow vegetables is to sow them from seed. Greener Kirkcaldy's Ravenscraig gardeners will share their knowledge and experience of growing vegetables, salads and herbs from seed. They'll discuss how to sow seeds indoors and outdoors, the difference between tender and hardy plants, and how to care for them. They'll help you decide what to grow based on your space and what you like to eat. They will be indoors for part of the workshop and outdoors doing some practical tasks. The workshop is suitable for beginners and those who would like to learn a bit more about growing their own veg and salads.

No equipment is needed but you might want to bring your own gardening gloves. Please dress according to the weather and wear shoes suitable for being outdoors. There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
