  • Greenspace Scotland - Tesco Bags of Help Centenary Grant

    Created: 18/02/2019
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

    The Centenary Grants are two special voting rounds of the Tesco Bags of Help local community grant scheme and offer a unique opportunity to help more people across five voting regions in Scotland:

    • Highland and Islands / North East Scotland;
    • Mid Scotland;
    • West Scotland;
    • Central Scotland; and
    • South Scotland.

    The July/August 2019 voting period will feature projects with a Health and Wellbeing theme, and projects focusing on cancer, heart disease and diabetes will be prioritised. Eligible applications that meet the programme criteria but don’t have a Health and Wellbeing focus will be considered for a later funding round.

    The types of projects funded could include:

    • improvements to a building;
    • improvements to an outdoor space;
    • delivering activities or charitable services; or
    • providing equipment.
