    This course will explore the principles of background checking of all types for both staff and volunteers. The course will provide information on:

    General information on PVG and disclosure checking;

    The different types of disclosure check available (e.g. Basic, Standard, Enhanced and PVG Scheme) and which roles require which type of check;

    A brief look at how to go about processing checks (this is covered in more detail in the PVG signatory course);

    Safe recruitment: risk assessment and other good practice measures.

     

    NB - This is specifically for Fife Council Staff.
