When: 9.30am-12.30pm, Wednesday 20 February 2019 Where: Bankhead Central, Bankhead Park, Glenrothes, KY7 6GH This event is being organised by Fife Council Costs This event is free to attend but to encourage attendance and try and ensure a good turnout to benefit all delegates, we will charge a non-attendance fee of £10.00 per delegate. By submitting a booking for this event you agree to pay this fee for those delegates who have places booked but do not attend.
Cancellations can be received up to 5 working days ahead of the event, thus avoiding non-attendance fees. A cancellation will only be valid if we have confirmed it with you. You can send somebody else in place of a booked delegate without incurring a non-attendance fee.

Deaf Awareness Training is to help participants have a better understanding of those with a hearing loss.
Upon finishing the course, participants will know the following:
Different types of hearing loss;
Statistics of hearing loss in the UK and Fife;
Understanding the difficulties people with a hearing loss have and how to resolve them;
Recognising anyone who has a hearing loss;
Lip reading activity;
How to use Sign Language Interpreters.
