NHS Fife - Improving Health: Developing Effective Practice
Created: 17/01/2019The course aims to enable participants to increase their confidence in improving health and tackling health inequalities, by providing a framework which will guide and encourage the development of effective and reflective practice. It will enable you to increase your confidence in improving health and tackling health inequalities and will help you to explore the scope of your health improvement role in day to day practice.
The training is intended to be of benefit to all occupational groups in health and social care, social work, housing, third sector and independent care providers with a role or interest in improving health and tackling health inequalities. It will be of particular interest to individuals interested in joining the UK Public Health Register.
This blended course combines approximately 15 hours of online learning and 3.5 days of face to face workshops. Participants are also expected to complete an individual written task and a group task as part of the course.

Half day induction workshop – 26 February
Day 1 – 19 March
Day 2 – 30 April
Day 3 – 18 June
