    When: 10.00 - 12.30, Friday 01 February 2019
Where: New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT
This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

An exciting opportunity to come and hear from the Scottish Parliament's Outreach Team on the role of the Scottish Parliament, learn about the committee structure, how to engage with Parliament and ask questions.  There will also be time for informal networking after the presentations, discussions and questions.  This session is ideally suited to those organisations with a campaigning focus or who might want to have their voice heard on any key policy issues.

    The workshop will cover

    • the various formal and informal methods of engagement,
    • tips for engaging with your MSP’s,
    • an explanation of the role of committee’s and how best to influence their work
    • an informal Networking/Q&A session with the Community Outreach Officer for Fife, Ewan Masson

Ewan and Fife Voluntary Action are keen to meet as many organisations as possible to explore how best to work in partnership with the voluntary sector in Fife to ensure that people’s lived experience is brought in to the work of the Scottish Parliament.

The workshop will be followed by a networking lunch.
