Hours: 15 per week
Salary: £17,063 - £19,468 per annum
The postholder will provide a caretaking and small maintenance services to the Housing Support Services accommodation and the commercial and training areas of the building at West Bridge Mill including the co-ordination of the work of any contractors.
West Bridge Mill is a multi-function building which provides temporary accommodation for up to 32 individuals within the internal shared flats as well as office / meeting room space. The office space consists of internal LinkLiving Fife Services and leased to various external organisations.
Due to the variety of building uses, broad technical experience will be required in various aspects of building work in order to keep the building up to a good standard and rooms/flats in a let-able condition.
You will need:
- General maintenance qualification or knowledge of how to carry out small repairs to property.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- The ability to relate well to people and be sensitive and responsive to their needs and requirements.
- The ability to work in a non-judgemental, person centred way and promote the values of inclusion.
