Fife Funders' Fayre 2018 - last few places left!
Created: 01/11/2018, Updated: 12/11/2018Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) and Fife Council's Community Investment Team have joined together once again to bring a wide range of funders and support agencies under the same roof on 28 November, for 2018's Fife Funders' Fayre. This years' event will take place at the CISWO Social Club in Glenrothes.
We'll have more than 25 stands with funders from across Scotland, a range of support agencies and OSCR, the Charity Regulator. At these stands you can speak to experts about your organisation and project idea, find out which funders would welcome your application, get support and ask questions directly of the funder. You can also speak to support agencies about the range of help and advice available. It will be an informal event - a marketplace - where you approach those people you want to speak to.
We'll also have opportunities for people to speak one-to-one with the Big Lottery Fund Scotland as well as a free organisational healthcheck from FVA's experts on legal structures, governance and running third sector organisations.
And if that isn't enough, we'll also be running 10 good practice workshops (all free of charge) throughout the day on:
All of these sessions are free to attend and open to senior staff or Trustees/committee members. All 5 workshops will run in the morning and then again in the afternoon.
Once you've booked your place at the Funders' Fayre, we'll give you the link to book at any of the optional workshops running during the day.
Priority will be given to those organisations that FVA and/or Fife Council's Community Investment Team are already supporting with funding proposals. We will operate a waiting list for all other organisations. We will also limit the number of places per organisation to an absolute maximum of 2, to allow as many organisations to benefit as possible.
