Poverty Alliance and ASH Scotland - Smoking and Poverty Research Discussion
Created: 08/10/2018Poverty Alliance and ASH Scotland are inviting community and voluntary organisations from organisations working across the Fife area to contribute to a focus group discussion on Smoking and Poverty. This work has been funded by Cancer Research UK and is looking at relationships between pro-health work (focusing on the harm caused by tobacco) and anti-poverty work. This small discussion will look to explore a range of perspectives and views around pro-health and anti-poverty work and will take a participatory approach in the discussion format.
This will involve taking part in a 1 ½ hour focus group discussion. The aims of the session are to have a stimulating and lively discussion, complete with digital voting, exploring the relationship between Poverty and Smoking and pro-health and anti-poverty work.
They will use the information you give them as part of a report. This will not identify your organisation in any way. This will help them contribute to a broader evidence base on this subject and to underpin pilot work.
For any questions relating to this discussion, please contact Fiona McHardy on [email protected] or call Fiona on 0141 353 0440.
