    This is a high energy role; there will be elements that are hands on and see you leading a team from the very front, but they will also want you to know their customers and be the kind of person who can use that knowledge to both develop and implement new ideas to enhance our catering offering.

    You will have a strong experience of working in the catering or hospitality industry, and have significant knowledge and understanding of management in that environment; your values will be focused on the need for excellent customer service and quality products and you can balance these alongside the need to ensure the offer is at the right price.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Managing and coordinating business units throughout Fife and the associated staff.

    • Ensuring sites are compliant with expected service standards, quality control and Health and Safety standards;
    • Ensuring all systems and procedures are in place and followed re stock control, cash systems and product administration. Balancing purchases with income/cash flow;
    • Assisting with the identification of new business opportunities;
    • Monitoring budgets, investigating and highlighting variances in expenditure;
    • Supporting the team to achieve targets aligned to the business of the unit;
    • Point of contact with external bookings to provide menu options, pricing and on the day / night management to ensure service delivery is the highest standard;
    • Developing new menus and customer offers that tie in with our cultural offering and enhancing the customer experience;
    • Preparing financial reports on area of expenditure and preparing reports with recommendations for improvements in sales.
