    Kingdom Support and Care provide support to people with a range of needs in their own homes, including those with,  learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, physical disabilities, complex needs, mental health issues and age related needs.

    Their aim is to support people to have a safe and secure home, to live as independently as possible in their own home, to live as full a life as possible and to be part of their local community.

    In this role, you will be an integral member of the support team contributing to and ensuring a high quality of care and support for individuals with a wide range of support and care needs within the Glenrothes, Dunfermline and Rosyth areas. These services may require you to be trained in CALM-Crisis, Aggression Limitation and Management and physical intervention techniques, if you have not had any training this will be provided to you.  They are looking for upbeat, confident and energetic people who have the desire to want to support people to have the best life possible. Both personal care and participation in activities such as going to the cinema, going shopping, out for lunch, or going on day trips further afield, so energy and initiative is vital. To support staff into the service, they offer a comprehensive induction period with training tailored to the service and a buddy system for new staff so you have the support of the whole team.

    You must be able to support and be flexible in your approach to work and it is essential you are able to work a rota which will include weekends, sleepovers and may include waking night shifts. In return for the above they will offer an attractive salary and benefits package including full funding and support towards an SVQ qualification in Care and generous annual leave entitlement. A current driving licence is essential and the use of a car for work purposes is required in some services.

    The posts are subject to a PVG Disclosure check. The cost of membership is borne by you. All posts have an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 which restricts applications from females only due to service users support needs.
