    Costs
This event is free to attend but to encourage attendance and try and ensure a good turnout to benefit all delegates, we will charge a non-attendance fee of £10.00 per delegate. By submitting a booking for this event you agree to pay this fee for those delegates who have places booked but do not attend.

Cancellations can be received up to 5 working days ahead of the event, thus avoiding non-attendance fees. A cancellation will only be valid if we have confirmed it with you. You can send somebody else in place of a booked delegate without incurring a non-attendance fee.

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Our Volunteer Managers' Forums are open to anyone who works in Fife and who is involved in the recruitment and/or management/supervision of volunteers.

Volunteer Management can sometimes be a solitary role within an organisation, and our Forums are a great way to meet other people who are doing a similar role to you and reduce any sense of isolation you may have. There's also the chance to network (usually both formally and informally), catch up with changes happening in the field, discuss issues you may have and ask questions of the guest speaker and FVA staff who will be in attendance.

There will be tea and coffee with biscuits available from 9.15am if you wish to have some informal networking before the event starts.

We will be taking time to celebrate our brilliant volunteer managers' as 05 November 2018 is International Volunteer Managers' Day with a range of topics and speakers including, Good Work Is Good For You, Timebanking and a new pilot service Health & Work Support which is hosted jointly by the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership and Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership. There will also be an opportunity to share any Christmas events and or Christmas  volunteering opportunities that we could help you advertise and recruit for.

Come along ready to share, learn and network!

Please note that our Kirkcaldy office has visitor parking for blue Badge holders only. There's lots of free parking less than ten minutes walk away and if you require advice on this or would like to connect with others to car share, please let us know and we will be happy to help!
