    This is a great chance for someone interested in taking up a career in the events industry. You will join the busy events team at the Centre for Stewardship. Working to the Events & Venue Manager you will be part of a team of staff and volunteers who both run events such as weddings and craft fayres. On a day to day basis you will work closely with the Senior Events Assistant and the Events Manager to coordinate activities on the Estate. This is a varied job and the following tasks and duties will be involved:

    • Organising practical arrangements around events such as making sure the event spaces are pristine and ready for participants.
    • Helping to update the website, facebook and other social media with news about events.
    • Printing and photocopying posters and other flyers about events.
    • Taking enquiries and passing these to the Events Manager/Senior Events Assistant.
    • Opening up the venue spaces for events and working with event organisers to ensure that they have everything they need.
    • Set up and take down of events. Ensuring that all catering is ready for the start of events, the IT is working and that everything is tidied away at the end.
    • Helping to write risk assessments.
    • Helping in practical ways to ensure the facilities are kept in good order (eg cleaning and recycling).
    • Helping with evaluations (feedback forms), photographs and videos where possible.
    • Helping to serve refreshments.
