OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Dunfermline Greenspace is a local organisation set up to benefit the community of Dunfermline and to preserve, restore and improve the environment. They aim to use public greenspace to benefit and protect the wellbeing, health, recreation and leisure of the community, while also providing education, training and volunteering opportunities. They are currently looking for new trustees to join their board.
As a board member, you will attend monthly meetings and make decisions on behalf of the charity. If you have a passion for greenspaces, the environment, and heritage, and want to make Dunfermline a better and more accessible place for the local community, this could be the ideal role for you.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Training provided: There will be an induction to cover the policies and procedures, a trustee pack with organisational information and signposting to relevant training sessions. Experience required: No specific requirements; however, director/management experience would be a helpful bonus. An interest in preserving and enhancing our green spaces, as well as addressing climate and biodiversity emergencies on a community level, would also be beneficial. Restrictions on who can volunteer
