About this opportunity: | Circle of Comfort (CofC) is a growing non-profit organisation with ambitious plans for the future. Their network of oncology trained therapists provides a funded complementary therapy service to clients with traumatic and life-changing cancer diagnoses across Fife and Perth. They offer support and promote well-being to help patients cope with the illness. CofC is looking for new Trustees to join its board. As a trustee, you will support the mission of the organisation and you will support with strategic planning, defining goals and setting targets and evaluating performance. CofC is keen to increase the diversity, knowledge, age and experience on its Board. They hope to attract applications from a wide range of talented individuals irrespective of age, disability, gender, ethnicity, nationality, belief or caring responsibilities. They encourage applications from people with fundraising and marketing experience, or who are from a health or therapeutic background. |

Training provided: | Trustees will be encouraged to attend new Trustee training. Support will be given in understanding the charity and the work that we do. Safeguarding training will be provided. |
Experience required: | Trustees should treat other board members with respect and trust and should represent CofC positively. They will be expected to maintain confidentiality, protect the reputation of CofC and adhere to the principles set out by OSCR. CofC encourage applications from people with fundraising and marketing experience, or a health or therapeutic background. |
