About this opportunity: | Levenmouth Foodbank was set up by Local Churches in response to local need as part of the Trussell Trust national network of foodbanks. A desire to help people in a non-judgemental way and contribute to improving their circumstances is central to the work of the project. Current operations include: -Foodbank -Cafe -Schools Work They are looking to appoint new Trustees who live and/or work in Levenmouth. Prospective applicants are expected to be aware of Charity Trustee legal duties and responsibilities, for which training can be given. It is expected that candidates have good communication, interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to work within a team and to contribute to problem solving. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Training provided: | Induction will initially be an introduction to Foodbank activities, tour of the building and meeting fellow trustees. Support from other trustees will be continuous, as required. More structured training is available from time to time from Fife Voluntary Action. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Experience required: | It is expected that candidates have good communication, interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to work within a team and to contribute to problem solving. They are looking for trustees from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
