Keeping them on track and planning the way ahead is their Board of Directors and they are currently looking for people who can offer their time and skills to help this important service continue to grow and develop. You might be at the start of building a career, (imagine having "Director" on your CV!) or you're recently retired and want to keep your brain supple, or you just have a bit of time on your hands and want to contribute your knowledge and experience to help us keep supporting the carers of Fife. Director, Trustee, Board/Committee member or Governor?!

Organisations have different names for the volunteers who are responsible for the running of the organisation - some are called Board members, some are Committee members, some may use the word Director for example. Broadly speaking, they mean the same thing - the people at the top who are ultimately responsible! These are important roles (for which training and support is available) and without volunteers at board level voluntary sector organisations could not exist.
