OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Care and Share Companionship is a relatively new Scottish Registered Charity. We recently celebrated our first year of being an active service. We support people over the age of 60 who are living in isolation and loneliness within the Kirkcaldy area of Fife. Our aim is to provide a service that helps improve health and wellbeing. Our mission is to provide 1-1 personalised flexible companionship and make people feel valued and part of their community.
This is an exciting and challenging year to establish our presence, with ambition, empathy, passion and energy to support those people who sometimes feel invisible.
We are looking for a Chairperson to help us in achieving our potential with knowledge, skills and experience in these roles who are excited about our vision and committed to good governance.

Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Training provided: Volunteer will receive a Trustee Handbook, introduced to members of the board and ongoing training opportunities will be advised from FVA and other third sector support organisations ie Befriending Networks. Experience required: We are looking for people with previous experience and knowledge in the role of Chairperson. However, we would consider any application we receive as training can be accessed in all areas of being a Trustee. Good communication, personal and organisational skills will complement and strength our existing members to carry the Charity forward. Restrictions on who can volunteer
