About this opportunity: | This is an opportunity to become involved with the North East Fife Community Hub at an exciting phase of its development. This is a Company Ltd by guarantee with charitable status set up to be a focus for community activity and services, including a community cafe and clothes bank. The aim of the project is to relieve poverty and social isolation, and to provide a safe, affordable meeting space for everyone in the local area regardless of age, gender or ability. NEFCH has just secured a premises in St Andrews and so are wishing to expand the size and expertise of the Board, which currently has 7 members, most of whom have a background or current experience in health and social care. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Experience required: | This project particularly needs board members with expertise in: business and/or commerce; building management; and finance, accounting, and/or fundraising. In addition, NEFCH are looking for canddates qwith acute social awareness and knowledge of the local area, and who have the time to offer the both project and the most vulnerable in the community support and advocacy.
