About this opportunity: | YMCA Glenrothes are seeing two new voluntary Board Trustees with a genuine interest in change, for its dynamic work with young people, the homeless and disadvantaged groups. As a YMCA Board Trustee, they would welcome your advice, knowledge, skills and experience. You should be able to attend four evening meetings a year, have experience of working in the public, private or voluntary sectors and a genuine interest in helping youth and the wider community, particularly those who are disadvantaged. Current work includes the purchase and upgrade of properties using secured grants work within the Public Social Housing Partnership for Fife and a new youth and community programme which in linked to health and well-being. They are looking for individuals with a strong knowledge of - youth work, housing or fundraising and you will be asked to join a committee - e.g. Human Resourse, Finance and Audit or Property. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
