OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Home-Start Glenbeath is a newly merged organisation covering the Glenrothes and Cowdenbeath areas.
Home-Start Glenbeath is part of a network of local Home-Starts throughout the UK which offer support and guidance to young families helping them to develop and grow. The families which Home-Start Glenbeath support are experiencing many difficulties including financial hardship, difficulties with their mental health and illness and loneliness.
The organisation is seeking a Treasurer to join the Board to help them move into the next phase of the development. It is exciting times and the chance for an individual with financial management skills to help the organisation reach as many families who need support as they can.
You will join, and be supported, by a Board of Trustees with a variety of skills and a staff team of 10. The organisation currently has bookkeeping support and uses Xero.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays
