OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Fife Pride is dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality. Each year, the organisation delivers a vibrant Pride event that brings together individuals, families, and allies to support and uplift LGBTQIA+ identities. Run entirely by committed volunteers, Fife Pride works to create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive space for all.
Fife Pride is seeking multiple Trustees to join the Board and support the charity's governance and strategic direction..
Trustees will:
-Contribute to strategic planning and oversight of key activities.
-Ensure compliance with legal and charitable responsibilities.
-Attend board meetings and participate in decision-making.
-Support areas such as events, community engagement, finance, or fundraising (based on skills).
-Champion Fife Pride’s values of equality, inclusion, and diversity.
They welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities and ask that all Trustees are fully supportive and inclusive of the entire LGBTQIA+ community.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays 
Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Training provided: An overview of the role and responsibilities will be provided as part of an induction and initial support will be provided by current trustees, as well as ongoing support. The volunteer will also be part of a Whatsapp group. Experience required: We would particularly value applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas: Finance / Accountancy / Financial Management – Legal expertise – Policy and legislation – Community/beneficiary insight – Partnerships and external relationships – Restrictions on who can volunteer
