    Aims and objectivesSaline and District Heritage Society records the history of Saline, assists members of the public with finding out about relatives, look after the old kirkyard, host winter speaker events, take part in doors open day, publish local history books, take an interest in new discoveries in the area, and encourage volunteers to help with their events. They also host graveyard tours and explore the local area whenever something new and of interest is discovered. Members also occasionally help out with external events such as the Garden Open Day or attend the annual Archaeological Conference.
