    Aims and objectivesThe foodbank operates as a non-profit distributing charity, whose principal objects are the prevention or relief of poverty and the relief of those in need through the provision of food distribution and access to signposting to welfare support in the community, with the intention of improving quality of life. We provide three days'' nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
