    Aims and objectivesBikeworks is a registered charity based in Glenrothes which is involved in recycling/refurbishing donated bicycles and selling these at affordable prices to the lleast affluent in our community. In doing so we provide training to people with disabilities and to the long-term unemployed. Our aims are to provide training and support to the above disadvantaged groups while advancing the "Green"agenda by reducing the need for landfill and by advancing the use of cycling as a means of reducing car travel. In the past 12 months we have diverted approx 50 tons from landfill and this is set to increase in that we are now working in partnership with Fife Council Re-cycling Services.
