Aims and objectives
Established in 2005, Living Solutions is a social enterprise with UK Charity Commission Registration based in Cowdenbeath, Fife. Our aims are to conserve and protect the natural environment and reduce unemployment. We provide a complete range of Forestry and arborist Services in Fife and the surrounding areas and employment, training and volunteering opportunities for local young people, training them up to be skilled tree surgeons and/or forestry workers. We work to achieve these aims through environmental jobs and projects carried out in the local community and by providing employment, education, training and volunteering opportunities to local unemployed people. We have worked with and provided training for over 400 young people and have an excellent track record of helping people into employment. We have an academy training young people whilst carrying out improvements in local community woodland. We also have an arborist training team and an arborist contracting team which carries out tree surgery for clients such as Fife council, Fife housing group and private customers.
