Kirkcaldy YM Junior Football Club
Created/last updated: 04/03/2019
Aims and objectives
Kirkcaldy YM Football Club was formed in 1970 and moved from their home at Windmill Park to a purpose-built enclosed ground at Denfield Park in 1990.
The club is very much a community-based club which has generally competed in the junior semi-professional leagues as an amateur club. After a particularly difficult few seasons- where the club almost folded- they were taken over in 2018 by a new local committee, with the common goals of stabilising the club and looking forward to developing the club into a team that the local community can be proud of. In addition, they aim to make the club one that can encourage and develop local football players to be playing football at as high a level as possible to maximise their potential.
The committee are all local volunteers who come from a wide range of backgrounds but who all want to promote the club and town and enjoy the social company of working as part of a team.
Kirkcaldy YM Junior Football Club is currently looking to recruit volunteers for the following opportunities: - Football Match Day Helpers
