Families Affected By Autism
Created/last updated: 08/02/2023Aims and objectives | Families Affected by Autism offer autism specific services that support children or adults with or undergoing Autism Diagnosis, together with their families, carers and professionals. Individuals with related conditions ie ADHD, ADD, Sensory Processing issues are also welcome. This opportunity is ideal for anyone with a passion for working in their local autism community or for senior pupils wanting to gain experience in this field. Help out at our Sunday Group or get involved with fundraising or marketing or social events. The group is open to all and provides a variety of different activities for all age groups. Different fun activities are organized each week to develop life and social skills and help with sensory processing issues. Social and fundraising events take place throughout the year to enable friendships and relationships to develop and to help members feel part of our autism community group. |
