Kingdom of Fife Fletchers
Created/last updated: 30/10/2019
Aims and objectives
Kingdom of Fife Fletchers (incorporating Disability Sport Fife archers) was formed as a development club to provide coaching training facilities for able-bodied and disabled people in the sport of archery.
We shoot at Windmill Campus in Kirkcaldy in Fife on Monday evenings between 7 and 9pm. It's a modern, bright, warm, well serviced facility and we provide an inclusive archery experience for people from all walks of life from Fife and surrounding areas.
We are affiliated to Scottish Archery and to Archery GB, the national governing body for Target Archery in the UK and have some of the best coaches in the UK. In our small membership we are proud to boast a Paralympian, Scottish Champions, Area champions, coaches to GB, Scottish and University team members and about 100 years of combined experience in both recreational and performance archery. We have both able bodied and members with a wide range of disabilities and ages from 10 upwards.
We will soon be opening up our doors to new members and will be running beginners courses during 2018 to swell our numbers and introduce new people to our sport (as well as experienced archers of course!)
