    Aims and objectivesThe Squeeze is a registered charity, established in January 2023, that is supporting families facing short-term financial hardship. Our focal point is to provide short-term support, with funding, to those desperately in need of help. This is provided through charities that have signed up and identified those margionalised by the current cost of living crisis. We only work with established charities who enrol with us and once registered, they can apply for funding. We see our charity as enhancing the work that other groups are already doing - such as Foodbanks - but also by providing funding to assist with heating, lighting, clothing, and food that cannot be accessed from other charities or community groups. The beneficiaries of these grants are vulnerable individuals and families (of all ages, ethnicity, and backgrounds) who reside in Scotland, and who are currently facing financial hardship. The criteria is to prioritise all those living in poverty and for applications that can make that positive difference to those desperately in need. Our unique approach offers registered charities the opportunity to sign up and, once our due diligence checks are confirmed, the Charity can apply for funding which will directly help those impoverished. Our process is designed to be easy, easy to donate, easy to apply, easy to receive money and easy to report on impact.
